Part of the fun and excitement of greyhound racing is placing a bet. This is not difficult and our Tote staff will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have.
If you win, the dividends are displayed on the screens throughout the stadium to a £1 stake and you can collect your winnings from any Tote booth. The range of bets available to you are as follows:-

Select the greyhound you think will win the race!
Minimum stake £1.00
Place
Select the Greyhound that you think will finish first or second.
Minimum stake £1.00
Forecast
Select 2 greyhounds to finish 1st and 2nd in the correct order.
Minimum stake 50p.
Reversed Forecast
Select 2 greyhounds to finish 1st and 2nd in either order.
Minimum stakes, 2bets @ 50p = £1.00.
Trio
Select three greyhounds to finish first, second and third in the correct order.
Minimum stake 50p.
Trio - All Ways
Select three greyhounds to finish first, second and third in any order.
Minimum stake 6 bets @ 50p = £3.00.
Pick 6 Jackpot
To win the Jackpot, you must select the winner of each leg of the Jackpot (6 legs). All bets must be placed before the start of the first race (race 5 on the card). In the vent of a late withdrawal of a Greyhound, all units will be placed on the "Tote Win Pool Favourite".
In the event of a dead-heat, both Greyhounds will be declared for Jackpot purposes.
If the Jackpot is not won, the pool will be carried over to the next meeting.
Trackside Bookmakers
We also have independent bookmakers betting at the Stadium on race nights. These offer "FIXED ODDS" so that you can get the board price of the Greyhound you select.
With all trackside bookmakers, the minimum stake is £5.00.
In-House Betting
William Hill operates a full service betting office in the downstairs bar area. You can watch and bet on Horse racing, Greyhound racing from around the country and other sporting events.
All dividends are calculated on a £1.00 stake.
